African Countries Cooperate in Struggle to Prevent Terrorism
Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Countries in the Sahel-Sahara region are strengthening cooperation in fighting terrorism and drug trafficking.

Mali, Mauritania, Niger and Algeria on Friday will set up a joint force of 85 000 to patrol their shared Sahel-Sahara desert zone.

The force will be deployed in 18 months to carry out the duty to detect and wipe out terrorists and drug traffickers.
