The Pyongyang External Civil Law Firm acts legal representatives and provides legal service to local and foreign businesses.

Hong Chol Hwa, director of the firm, told KCNA that the firm renders assistance to corporations and individuals at home and abroad to protect their legal rights and interests and promote trade and economic and cultural exchange among nations.

"We give legal advices as regards economic transactions and foreign investment and offer assistance in working out or examining contract, lawsuit and arbitration documents," he said.

"We also act legal advisers and lawsuit and arbitration representatives at request of businesses and foreign investors," he added.

The firm is situated in Taedongmun-dong, Central District, Pyongyang.
