DPRK's Important Day Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Events took place in Russia on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the start of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. An opening ceremony of the DPRK book, photo and handicraft exhibition and a film show were held at the State Art Gallery in Novosibirsk, Russia and a film show took place at the Bneshtorg Prom Co. Ltd. on May 9 and 20. Displayed in the venue of the exhibition were works of Kim Jong Il, books and photos on the validity and vitality of the Songun politics and those introducing the celebrations of the 65th birthday of the WPK and handiworks associated with the wisdom and skills of the Korean people. Participants of the film shows watched "The Arch of Triumph" and other Korean films. |
