Recently the present U.S. administration claimed that Hezbollah was behind the political assassinations in Lebanon and called for an international investigation into them.

"These accusations are baseless," he said, adding such remarks were aimed to appease Israel.

"They have left nothing for the Arabs but the choice of resistance," he said, stressing that Hezbollah would continue its struggle against Israel.
