Present at the meeting, held timing to coincide with the 50th anniversary of NAM, were foreign ministers and high-ranking government delegates from at least 100 NAM member nations including the DPRK.

Its participants underlined the need for NAM member nations to unite and further enhance the role of NAM as leading force in the settlement of international issues.

They also stressed that NAM should play a core role in defending and consolidating the interests of developing countries and intensify the collective action of its member states.

The meeting approved the admission of Azerbaijan and Fiji to NAM and adopted the Bali declaration commemorating the 50th anniversary of NAM, its final document and others.
