There have been recently a series of shocking news that defoliant spray continued till the 1970s and it involved not only the Demilitarized Zone but the whole of south Korea, the commentary noted, and continued:

The disclosure was made of more cases of storing of defoliant not only in the U.S. forces base in Waegwan but various other bases and spray of it in areas around the places they were stationed. In a word, the U.S. forces committed the war crimes against all the people of south Korea.

It is hypocrisy to conduct a joint investigation into the above-said crimes with this shameless group.

If the defoliant case is to be correctly probed, the authorities should reject the U.S. forces' intervention, form a special investigation team single-handed and immediately launch an investigation.

It warned that it would never overlook the war crimes committed by the U.S. forces against civilians.
