US Imperialists' Tests of Efficacy of Toxic Chemicals Disclosed in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the U.S. imperialists conducted tests of the efficacy of all kinds of toxic chemicals in south Korea in the 1960s, said south Korean KBS on May 27. This fact was disclosed by an organization made up of ex-GIs who participated in the past Korean war when it opened to public a document of the U.S. government. Recorded in the document is the fact that the U.S. sent varieties of very toxic weed killers to its units deployed in the frontline areas of south Korea in July, August and October, 1968 for the purpose of testing them. |
