The students staged a demonstration toward Chongwadae, strongly denouncing Lee Myung Bak for evading his commitment to halve the registration fee.

Meanwhile, a rally of students was held before the Myongdong Cathedral.

The participants said that they keenly felt during the rule of the present "government" that the issue of registration fee can hardly be settled unless the students take the lead in the actions.

If the "government" and the "Grand National Party" pay no heed to the demand of the students to the end, they will not escape a judgment, they warned.

That day students held a candlelight rally around Kwanghwamun, demanding the release of those arrested and the fulfillment of the commitment to halve the registration fee.
