Okinawa Gov. Reiterates Opposition to Futenma Relocation Plan

| Pyongyang, June 2 (KCNA) -- The governor of Okinawa in Japan on Saturday when meeting with the foreign minister reiterated his opposition to the plan to move the U.S. Futenma air-force base in the prefecture. ''It is impossible to carry out the relocation that cannot get local consent,'' he said. He asked the foreign minister to transfer the Futenma base outside the prefecture. |
