They included the People's Socialist Party, the Socialist Popular Party, the Socialist Party, the National Coordinating Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Mexico-Korea Friendship Association.

The north-south joint declaration serves as a banner for independent reunification to be invariably held aloft by all Koreans and a milestone for national prosperity, the joint statement said, demanding the south Korean authorities opt for respecting and implementing the joint declaration and stop all reckless war exercises in collusion with the U.S.

The statement extended full support and solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK waging a dynamic drive for the improvement of inter-Korean relations and national reunification under the uplifted banner of "Let us open a new phase for independent reunification by the concerted efforts of all Koreans in the north, the south and abroad!"

It called on all governments, political parties, organizations, international organizations and progressive people in the world aspiring after peace, security and reunification of the Korean Peninsula to continue voicing full support and encouragement to the WPK and people of the DPRK in their struggle to achieve independent reunification.
