Guidelines for Environmental Information Service and Education" Announced in China

| Beijing June 2 (KCNA) -- The Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Publicity Department of the C.C., the Communist Party of China, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and three other units jointly made public the "2011-2015 guidelines for national environmental information service and education" recently. The guidelines will play an important role in raising the people's awareness of environment, promoting the building of a resources-saving society and enhancing the level of ecological civilization. They clarified the basic principle and the general target of environmental information service and education in the period of the 12th 5-year plan. |
