Nigerian President Pledges Commitment to Global Peace

| Pyongyang, June 4 (KCNA) -- Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan pledged the country's continued commitment to the maintenance of global peace on May 29 after the ceremony of taking the oath of office. "Nigeria as a responsible member of the international community will remain committed to the maintenance of global peace and security," he said. He said that the Nigerian government would continue to work with the international community and the African Union to foster the growth of democracy. |
