Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Seminars on General Secretary Kim Jong Il's works took place in South Africa and Guinea on May 28 on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the start of his work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Eddie Kekana, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Progressive Ideas of South Africa, made a report at the seminar on Kim Jong Il's work "The Workers' Party of Korea Organizes and Guides All the Victories of Our People" (Oct. 3, 1990). The reporter said that thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il the WPK has developed into the party of President Kim Il Sung, both in name and reality, and an experienced and tested party enjoying absolute support from the Korean people as it goes by the august name of the President. Kim Jong Il in his work underscored the need to further develop the WPK as a revolutionary party of Juche-type and strengthen the party leadership with main emphasis on the work with man, the reporter stressed. Mohamed Diouhe Fofana, chairman of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea at Kankan University of Guinea, said at a seminar on Kim Jong Il's work "On Preserving the Juche Character and National Character of the Revolution and Construction" (June 19, 1997) that his work is commanding full support and sympathy from the people of the countries aspiring after independence and displaying great vitality for its scientific accuracy and truth. The Korean people built genuine socialism centered on the popular masses by properly preserving the Juche character and national identity in the revolution and construction, the chairman noted, adding: The reality in the DPRK proves that preserving the Juche character and national identity in the revolution and construction is a true way for carving out the destiny of the country and nation. |
