As regards the attempt of the U.S. and the West to slap additional sanctions against Iran under the pretext of its nuclear issue, he stressed that there is no evidence that Iran develops nuclear weapons.

There is no reason to impose additional sanctions on Iran, he said, adding that such sanctions will do harm to the economic sector of the country.
