The general secretary said that the relations between the two parties are the friendly relations which were provided by President Kim Il Sung and President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

He noted that his party is pleased that the Workers' Party of Korea is leading the just cause of its people to victory under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il.

Equatorial Guinea will continue developing the friendly relations with the WPK and the DPRK government in the future, too, he added.

Ignacio Milan Tang, prime minister of Equatorial Guinea, met with the delegation on the same day. He referred to the fact that the two countries have developed the friendly relations since the independence of Equatorial Guinea.

Equatorial Guinea sincerely congratulates the Korean people on their achievements made in the efforts to grandly commemorate the centenary of birth of Kim Il Sung under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il and strive to boost the bilateral relations, he noted.
