Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- British and Swiss organizations supported a statement of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK. The British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association in a statement on May 31 said that it was natural for the DPRK to have taken practical steps to protect the sovereignty and security of the country in order to cope with the ever-escalating anti-DPRK moves of the Lee Myung Bak puppet clique. It went on: The Lee Myung Bak clique is busy letting loose a string of provocative and trite remarks against the DPRK. It orchestrated anti-DPRK charades one after another to defile the leadership and system of the DPRK. Not content with this, it is ceaselessly staging war maneuvers against the DPRK. The U.S. is zealously patronizing the south Korean authorities. The NDC of the DPRK clarified the principled stand to cope with the extreme anti-DPRK moves of the Lee Myung Bak clique backed by the U.S. We support the steps taken by the DPRK to protect the sovereignty of the country and the peace on the Korean Peninsula and the rest of the world. The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in a joint statement on the same day accused the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors of frantically escalating confrontation with the DPRK. It hailed the countermeasure of the DPRK against them as the most just and legitimate one. |
