They denounced the Lee Myung Bak group for reinforcing armed forces on Islands in the West Sea of Korea, sensitive waters between the south and the north, and staging provocative war maneuvers against the DPRK across south Korea almost every day.

Such acts of threatening the peace on the Korean Peninsula are unpardonable, they noted, and continued:

Peace and reunification can be achieved only when the anti-reunification forces engrossed in the maneuvers for a war of aggression against fellow countrymen are eliminated.

They demanded the Lee Myung Bak forces roll back their hostile policy toward the DPRK and immediately opt for implementing the south-north joint declarations for peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
