Kim Jong Il's Feats Praised by Bangladeshi Figures
Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- Personages of Bangladesh issued statements on June 1 to mark the 47th anniversary of the start of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work at the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea.

Rashed Khan Menon, chairman of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, said in a statement that Kim Jong Il, who set it as his lifelong task to strengthen the WPK into the party of President Kim Il Sung, clarified the philosophy that a revolutionary party is in essence the party of a leader and this political organization serves for carrying into practice the idea and guidance of a leader.

He has turned dignified Kim Il Sung's Korea into an invincible socialist bulwark, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence while wisely leading the human cause of justice for independence against imperialism and for global peace, the statement said, adding that his undying feats would shine for all ages.

Hasanul Huq Inu, chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh National Socialist Party, in a statement said that the past 47 years since Kim Jong Il started his work at the C.C., the WPK were the shining days in which the great history of defending socialism and building a thriving nation was ushered in the DPRK.

Under his guidance the WPK could turn into a powerful party with the steadfast stand of independence that does never waver in any storm and stress of history, the chairman stressed.
