DPRK to Compete in World Cups

| Pyongyang, June 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK will participate in the Women's World Cup, U-20 World Cup and U-17 World Cup this year. The DPRK women's team, which won the Asian championship three times in the new century, belongs to Group C together with Sweden, Colombia and the United States. The Korean boys won U-19 and U-16 Asian Cups last year. They will compete with Argentina, Mexico and England in U-20 group league matches and with Mexico, the Netherlands and Congo in U-17 group league matches. The Korean boys and girls are now undergoing intensive training for the world cups. |
