Iran Warns of Retaliation against West's Sanctions

| Tehran, June 7 (KCNA) -- Iranian First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi in an interview with a news agency on June 4 dismissed effectiveness of West's economic sanctions on Iran and warned that any further unilateral sanction would be reciprocated seriously. "Certain countries resort to sanctions in order to stop Iran's progress. We will pursue the same approach and will give response to their small action with the biggest reaction," Rahimi stressed. He stated: Iran does not need nuclear weapons at all. It uses (nuclear) technology only for scientific advancement. |
