| Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- The Chinese Xinhua News on Tuesday reported in detail about the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on setting up the Hwanggumphyong and Wihwa Islands Economic Zone. It said that the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly promulgated the decree on setting up the economic zone to further strengthen the DPRK-China friendship and expand and develop external economic relations. The sovereignty of the DPRK would be exercised over the zone and the development of the zone would start from the Hwanggumphyong district, it added. |
