Its chairman, elected at the ceremony, referred to the significance of the formation of the center, adding:

We will in the future systematically and deeply study the Juche idea and the Songun idea and the precious experience gained by the Korean people in the revolution and construction and widely disseminate them among the people of Brazil and Latin American countries in various forms and methods.

We will expand the organization and intensify solidarity activities supporting the Korean people in their just cause.

As an immediate task we will widely organize colorful events to grandly commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung, the founder of the Juche idea and the father of socialist Korea, in close touch with regional and international Juche idea study organizations.

A letter to General Secretary Kim Jong Il was adopted at the ceremony.
