The south Korean authorities recently let military hooligans set up targets daring hurt the supreme dignity of the DPRK and fire at them, thrice-cursed provocation, the statement said, and continued:

This was a hideous provocation against the army and people of the DPRK who unhesitatingly lay down even their lives to protect the supreme dignity of the country.

The statement demanded the south Korean authorities take a step to immediately punish the prime movers of the worst treachery, make a formal apology to all the Koreans for their hideous provocation and give firm official assurances against the recurrence of similar case as stated by the spokesman for the KPA General Staff.

The statement extended full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle.
