Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions, made a report at the seminar, which was followed by congratulatory speeches of several personages.

Taking the floor of the seminar were the chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche idea, the chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the chairman of the Belarus Association of Youth for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics Named after February 16 and other delegates.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Il Sung is the great leader and eternal sun of the world progressive mankind as he provided the guideline for victoriously advancing the human cause of independence by founding the Juche idea and made immortal contributions to building an independent new world with his distinguished and tested leadership.

They also stressed that General Secretary Kim Jong Il is the prominent leader who turned the DPRK into a politico-ideological and military power dignified with independence and displaying its might with Songun and is guiding the building of an economic power to victory through his tireless and energetic activities.

The Juche idea protects sovereignty and dignity of each country and nation, and this has been confirmed in the present reality of the DPRK, they said.

They stressed the need for the Juche idea study organizations in East Europe to closely combine the study and dissemination of the Juche idea with practical actions to defend sovereignty, dignity and peace of each country and nation from the imperialists' aggression and interference and provide welfare of the people.

They expressed full support for the decision of the 13th enlarged meeting of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of the Juche Idea on convening a world conference on the Juche idea. And they called upon the Juche idea study organizations in the region to take the lead in the efforts to commemorate the centenary of birth of President Kim Il Sung as a grand auspicious event in the history of mankind.

A letter to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar.
