Participating in the event were officials of the Ministry of Public Health and in the related field and voluntary non-remunerated blood donors.

On hand were staff members of the mission of the WHO and UNICEF and the delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies working in the DPRK and foreign guests.

Speeches were made at the event.

They underscored the need to successfully make blood donation now under way with the cooperation of the WHO and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Certificates were handed to voluntary non-remunerated blood donors and a video was shown.

After video was shown, the participants looked round photos on display and enjoyed a performance given by the central art squad for agitation for increased production on the occasion of the day.
