Present there were officials and members of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and those of friendship and solidarity with the Korean people including the Guinean Preparatory Committee for Commemorating the Centenary of Birth of President Kim Il Sung, the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Guinean Society for the Study of the Juche Literary Idea, the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Conakry and the Guinea-Korea Friendship Association.

Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected as chairman of the committee.

At the ceremony the committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events including a seminar on exploits of the President, a photo exhibition, a film show and a lecture during the period from June 8 to July 8.
