Ryongyang Mine Takes on New Look
Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- The 50-year-old Ryongyang Mine, a magnesite producer of the DPRK, has taken on a new look.

There are stopes on peaks of mountains belonging to the mine.

The mine has well-equipped dressing plants and pits. Mining has been put on a large basis in the Kumsan, Chongnyon and June 5 pits.

All the mining operations are controlled by computer in the Kumsan Pit.

The mine also has magnesia clinker and light burned magnesia production facilities.

The mine is boosting output to satisfy the steadily increasing demand for its products.
