The Lee Myung Bak "government" chilled the desire for peace and reunification which grew strong on the Korean Peninsula, the statement said, declaring that those who deceived the people and turned their back on the nation are bound to be sternly judged.

The implementation of the joint declaration, a landmark of reunification, is the only way of improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving the peace and prosperity of the nation.

It is the conclusion made by all the Koreans that the joint declaration cannot coexist with the Lee "government".

The statement called upon all the people aspiring after peace and reunification to turn out in the actions to implement the joint declaration and punish the Lee group of traitors.
