A relevant organ in Europe confirmed on June 11 that contaminated vegetable sprouts grown at a farm in the northern region of Germany were source of the outbreak of E. coli bacteria.

The deadly E. coli outbreak has so far killed 33 people in Europe since late May, and at least 3,000 were infected.
