Sudan Calls on U.S. to Stop "Carrot, Stick Policy"
Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the U.S. of its wrong policy toward Sudan in a statement on June 15.

The U.S. chief executive said "I want to speak directly to Sudanese leaders: you must know that if you fulfill your obligations and choose peace, the United States will take the steps we have pledged toward normal relations. However, those who flout their international obligations will face more pressure and isolation".

Flatly rejecting this, the statement said:

"The Sudanese government does not perform its responsibilities in desire for normalization or in fear of sanctions, and the U.S. administration should cease its carrot and stick policy which it has kept practicing."
