S. Korea's Anti-DPRK Confrontation Policy Rejected
Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The south Korean opposition Democratic Party strongly accused the present authorities of their anti-DPRK confrontation policy. It held a meeting of its executive chairmen at Rimjin Pavilion in Phaju, Kyonggi Province on June 1, south Korean CBS reported.

Speakers said June 15, 2000 was a historic day when the top leaders of the south and the north met and declared to put an end to the era of division.

But the north-south relations have now reached the worst phase in history, they deplored.

The Lee Myung Bak regime's "policy toward the north" went up in smoke, they said, demanding the authorities totally withdraw the confrontation policy and respect the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.
