U.S. Hit for Trying to Avoid Blame for Environment Pollution

Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The People for Achieving Peace and Reunification of south Korea staged a demonstration before the U.S. military base in Ryongsan, Seoul on June 14 in protest against the U.S. base moves to avoid the blame for the environment pollution.

The demonstrators were enraged at the fact that the U.S. is not properly probing the truth but trying to conceal its crimes though it is blustering that it is making an investigation into the burial of defoliant.

They demanded the U.S. government make an official apology for the organized and systematic environment pollution and opt for total revision of the south Korea-U.S. "Status of Forces Agreement".

They expressed their will to wage a more dynamic struggle against the U.S., chanting slogans "U.S. forces, get home as it sees our land as a dumping ground!"
