S. Korean Authorities Hit for Shifting Blame for "Cheonan" Warship Case onto DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- Jong Tong Yong, executive chairman of the opposition Democratic Party of south Korea, in an interview with KBS on June 15 said that the story about north's involvement in the "Cheonan" warship case is a far-fetched assertion, the south Korean Yonhap News reported. The stand that there was no other than the north which was involved in the case is not objective and scientific, he noted. It is quite natural that the people threw doubt on the results of investigation announced by the "government", he said. It is wrong that the authorities are taking an unreasonable and biased attitude, seeing those who are suspicious of the investigation results as "pro-north leftist ones", he stressed. |
