He built the WPK into the revolutionary party shining with the august name of President Kim Il Sung, a genuine guide and protector with responsibility for the destiny of the country and the people and an ever-victorious party bringing shining reality once it is determined.

The WPK considers the President's revolutionary idea and behests as unique guiding idea and immutable programme. Its political mode is the revolutionary leadership mode created and applied by the President. Its admirable organizing and mobilizing ability by which it directs the mental power of the army and people into building a thriving nation is exactly the same as the one practiced by the President.

The party and the state invariably put into force the popular policies despite the worst situation and the gigantic march for building a thriving nation is making dynamic progress and the June 15 era of reunification was ushered in this land. This is an admirable picture that can be presented by the WPK which is applying Kim Jong Il's policy of loving the country and the people.

The people are praising the WPK as the mother party to which they should entrust their destiny and future. All the Koreans are looking up to him as the lodestar of national reunification.

Under his leadership the WPK is displaying its militant might in the grand offensive for effecting a great surge. Kim Jong Il's outstanding wisdom is associated with the WPK's scientific line and policies and the general political and ideological offensive of great vitality.

Minju Joson says that Kim Jong Il has firmly consolidated the foundation for the eternal prosperity of Kim Il Sung's Korea by strengthening the party and raising its leading role in every way. This shines brightly as the greatest historical merit by Kim Jong Il before the era, the revolution, the country and people.
