Art Squad of Youth League Gives Performance

| Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- The Art Squad of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League performed at the plaza of the Party Founding Memorial Tower Sunday to celebrate the 47th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Colorful numbers included "Glory to the Great Our Party" and "I Sing of the Party". The performers praised the immortal exploits by Kim Jong Il who ushered in a great heyday of rich and prosperous country by developing the WPK into the glorious party of President Kim Il Sung. Such numbers as "Do Not Ask My Name", "Cuckoo" and "Young Man Whom I Found" well showed the great pride and optimism of young people leading a worthwhile life in the embrace of the mother party. Officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang watched the performance. |
