Reminiscences "Photograph Taken in front of His Birthplace" deals with the life of Kim Il Sung who dedicated his all to the country and the revolution and people till the last moments of his life.

Reminiscences "Boundlessly Modest Man" and "In the Experimental Field at the Foot of Mt. Kumsu" reflect the noble personality and virtues of Kim Il Sung.

The book also contains reminiscences telling touching stories about the indefatigable field guidance given by the President to meet people and dynamic and wise leadership provided by him to bring about a steady surge in the socialist economic construction.

There are in the book reminiscences dealing with the personality of the President as a great man. They tell stories about how he helped ordinary officials, servicepersons and working people to become pillars of the country, what profound care and trust he showed for a south Korean revolutionary, what loving care he showed for the bereaved children of revolutionaries so that they might follow in their footsteps and what great favor he bestowed upon the agricultural workers.
