The Lao paper Congtap Pasason Lao on June 13 carried a portrait of Kim Jong Il. The paper said he formulated the Songun politics as the basic political mode under socialism and triumphantly advanced the cause of the WPK and socialism with matchless military power.

The Cambodian paper Pracheachon on June 14 also carried his photo. The paper praised the undying feats of the peerlessly great man who put the single-minded unity among the leader, the party and the masses on the highest level with his benevolent politics of love and trust and has won victory after victory with its might.

The Uruguayan paper La Juventud on June 12 carried a photo on his revolutionary activities. The paper said Kim Jong Il made sure the WPK has consistently maintained the idea of President Kim Il Sung as the steadfast guiding idea and invariably held high the banner of the Juche idea even after the demise of the President.

The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions and the Peruvian Communist Party posted articles on Internet website on June 2 and 7 on the same occasion.
