The Korean people have unswervingly followed the path chosen by themselves under the uplifted red flag without the slightest vacillation and hesitation, the bulletin said under heading "Kim Jong Il, an outstanding political activist". The credit for this goes to the wise leadership of Kim Jong Il who has successfully carried forward the cause of President Kim Il Sung, it said, and continued:

Kim Jong Il showed his disposition as a distinguished statesman while leading the overall work of the country from long ago. The secret of the DPRK shining as a socialist country centered on the popular masses lies in the fact that he has embodied all the requirements of the Juche idea in all fabrics of social life.

The Juche idea that has been developed and enriched by him is an original idea centered on the man, the bulletin said, adding the imperialists dare not provoke the DPRK even though they talk about "globalization".
