Miguel Boieir, chairman of the Portugal-Korea Friendship Association, on June 17 praised Kim Jong Il as a distinguished genius of ideology and theory recognized by the international community.

The works authored by him are libraries and encyclopedias of the revolution and construction which help the WPK dynamically advance along the road of socialism without the slightest vacillation despite any world political upheaval.

Nigatu Dagnachew, chairman of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea, on June 15 said Kim Jong Il's visit to China in May was a historic event which helped boost the traditional DPRK-China relations of friendship provided by President Kim Il Sung. It greatly contributed to peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and Asia, he added.

Kim Jong Il is steering the world politics, encouraging the progressives to turn out in the struggle for independence under the banner of the Juche idea, he noted.

He emphasized the WPK, the DPRK and the Korean people are displaying their dignity as they are led by Kim Jong Il.
