On display at the hall of the seminar under the theme of "Single-minded unity of Korea based on the great Juche idea" were photos on Kim Jong Il's feats and books and photos introducing the DPRK.

Present there were Baguma Isoke, director general of the African Regional Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, chiefs and members of Juche Idea study organizations and teachers and students of the university.

Auma-Okumu, head of the Juche Idea Group of the Department of Psychology of the Kyambogo University, stressed the need to zealously follow the valuable experience of the WPK which achieved single-minded unity of the whole party and society by giving priority to ideological work, guided by the great Juche idea.

Speakers at the seminar praised the single-minded unity of the Korean society based on the Juche idea and the invincible might of the WPK.

In another development the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea held a joint seminar on June 16 in celebration of the above-said anniversary and Kim Jong Il's historic visit to China.

Secretary General Medhane said that Kim Jong Il's recent visit to China further consolidated the traditional DPRK-China friendly relations provided by President Kim Il Sung. This made an immortal contribution to peace and security of the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia and, furthermore, the rest of the world, he added.
