Newspaper "Banner of Paektu" Released in Russia

| Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The Tynda City Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of the Russian Philosophy Association released newspaper "Banner of Paektu" to mark the 47th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea. The paper carried in its front page a photo of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and articles under the headline of "Kim Jong Il: June 19, 1964". Those articles praised the immortal feats of Kim Jong Il who has developed the WPK into the eternal party of Kim Il Sung. In its second and third pages the paper carried panoramic view of the International Friendship Exhibition House, photos on the invincible might of the Korean People's Army and articles introducing the DPRK. The paper in fourth and five pages edited a photo of Kim Jong Il watching opera "Evgeni Onegin" and photos and articles introducing the opera. Its sixth, seventh and eighth pages carried photos and articles dealing with activities of Juche idea study organizations in Russia. |
