The delegation is led by Chen Zhenggao, deputy secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and governor of the Liaoning Provincial People's Government.

Present on the occasion were Kim Hyong Jun, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Hong Kil Nam, vice-chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned and Chinese Ambassador to the DPRK Liu Hongcai.

Chen said that the traditional China-DPRK friendship, provided by Chinese revolutionaries of elder generation and President Kim Il Sung, is now developing on a new higher stage.

The delegation witnessed the achievements made by the people of the DPRK while touring various places of it, he said, hoping that they would register greater success under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
