Seminars took place in Russia, Italy and Pakistan between June 19 and 21.

Semyonov, chairman of the Russian Association for Development of Friendship and Cooperation with Foreign Countries, said that for nearly half a century since Kim Jong Il started his work at the WPK Central Committee, the single-minded unity of the Korean society has been consolidated and signal changes made in the DPRK.

Mauro Cazadio, general secretary of the Struggle for the Peace and Socialism of Italy, said that a key to successes made by the Korean people in building an economic power lies in the ideology held fast to by the WPK in the revolution and construction.

Aldo Bernardini, chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche idea, referred to the significance of Kim Jong Il's visit to China and warmly hailed his successful visit, speaking highly of his energetic activities for the Korean revolution and global independence.

Shahida WiJarat, chairman of the Society for the Study of Self－Reliance of Pakistan, said the invincible might of the WPK would be unthinkable without the leadership of Kim Jong Il, praising his party building exploits.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the seminar in Pakistan.
