Kim Jong Il has brought about big changes in political, military, economic, cultural and all other fields with his distinguished ideological and theoretical activities and outstanding leadership for nearly half a century since he started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK, said the chairman of the Congolese National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea.

Bright is the future of the DPRK in which the party, the army and the people are united close around Kim Jong Il in single mind, he added.

The secretary general of the African Regional Committee of Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People said Kim Jong Il's recent visit to China greatly contributed to the development of the DPRK-China friendly relations. It created external environment favorable for building a thriving socialist nation in the DPRK, he added.

The DPRK would eternally prosper as it is led by Kim Jong Il, he emphasized.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Il was adopted at the meeting in Congo.
