Floral Basket Laid before Portraits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il at Russian School

| Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of laying a floral basket before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il was held at 11th Middle School in Khabarovsk City, Russia on June 19, the 47th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Participants laid the floral basket before the portraits at a classroom of Russia-Korea Children's Friendship Association Named after Kim Jong Il and made bows. Principal of the school Ludmila Levkova said the DPRK has wrought world-startling miracles and innovations in political, economic, cultural, military and all other fields for the past 47 years since Kim Jong Il started his work at the Central Committee of the WPK. Ludmila hoped the Korean people would make steady great progress in the efforts to build a thriving socialist nation under the leadership of Kim Jong Il and live happily in a reunified country. |
