Sophism Calling for Construction of Military Base Rebuffed

Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- The All-Islanders Measure Committee for Checking Jeju Military Base and other organizations of south Korea issued a joint commentary on June 24 denouncing the governor of Jeju Island for his remarks asserting the construction of a naval base.

That day the governor let loose a string of balderdash at a press conference that the construction of the Jeju naval base cannot be retracted and what is important is how to develop the area around the base, the commentary noted, and continued:

It is not the first time that the governor told nonsense calling for its construction.

If he persistently throws wet blanket on the people's actions against the construction of the military base, the people cannot but call his qualification into question, it warned.
