Attending there were the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification, the Association for Supporting Prisoners of Conscience of the Family Movement for Realizing Democracy, the Bar Association for Democratic Society and the Seoul Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration and others.

Kwon O Hon, permanent chairman of the Society, said at the ceremony of opening the games that members of different circles are filled with the ardent desire for reunification greeting the 11th anniversary of the joint declaration.

The Lee Myung Bak "government," however, is openly committing criminal acts against reunification and the nation in a total negation of the joint declaration, he charged.

He called upon all the people desirous of peace and reunification to implement the joint declaration.

Then followed football, track and field events and other sports games.
