On display in its venue were works of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and books and photos showing the successes made by the Korean people in their efforts to build a thriving nation and reunify the country.

Miriam Pelegrini Feri, president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy, said Kim Jong Il's visit to China marked an event of great significance in boosting the traditional DPRK-China friendship, spurring the Korean people's drive to build a thriving nation, defending peace and stability in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world and advancing the cause of socialism, the human cause of independence.

Constanzi Franco, secretary general of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said the Korean people have made big successes in building an economic power, closely united around Kim Jong Il while frustrating the U.S. imperialists' desperate anti-DPRK moves under the uplifted banner of socialism.

The DPRK will surely emerge victorious in the stand-off with the imperialists as long as there are Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership and the single-minded unity of the Korean people around him, he added.
