The police are blocking the march of the all-people rally for the hike of minimum wages and revision of trade union law, the statement said.

The police even tried to block the march at a time of the May Day rally only to be criticized by the public, the statement said, describing it as politically-motivated suppression by the authorities.

The present situation in which the people's basic rights are violated prove that the present authorities are more fascist than the successive military dictatorial regimes, the statement added.
