Int'l Conference on Combating Terrorism Held in Iran

| Tehran, June 30 (KCNA) -- An international conference on combating terrorism was held in Tehran on June 25 and 26 with delegations and delegates from more than 60 countries and representatives of international organizations attending. A statement was adopted at the conference, calling for intensifying the joint actions to cope with the worldwide threats posed by terrorism. The conference decided to set up a secretariat for the international conference on combating terrorism in Tehran and convene the 2012 conference in Iraq. |
